Arsenal bombshell: Barcelona plot stunning three-player swap deal for Gunners midfield ace
BARCELONA are considering an audacious deal for Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
According to Spanishnewspaper AS, Barcelona are looking to capitalise on Real Madrid's impending transfer embargo with a clever move for the midfield maestro. An 'anti-panic clause' was included in the deal when Ozil joined Arsenal for £42.5m in September 2013The clause allows Real Madrid first refusal if Ozil returns to Spain or 33 per cent of any transfer fee above £40m.
However, with a long-term transfer ban looming, Zinedine Zidane's club won't be able to make any new signings.
The Spanish outfit would be forced to watch their biggest rivals sign their former talent, who is desperate for a La Liga return.
