Arsenal fans plan David Rocastle tribute during Watford game
Arsenal fan group BlackScarfAFC are calling for a tribute to the late
David Rocastle in the seventh minute of today’s game against Watford.
The former Gunners winger passed away aged just 33 after a fight with
cancer 15 years ago this week, and is still fondly remembered by club
supporters.
A technically gifted and entertaining attacking midfielder, Rocastle
emerged from Arsenal’s youth ranks to become a key first-team star,
winning two league titles with the north Londoners.
Having worn the number 7 shirt during his time at Highbury, the Black
Scarf Movement are calling for a 60 seconds of applause on seven
minutes in today’s Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium.
